Barty Crouch Jr. knew the mission had failed and his master was furious. That was why he had turned and left without a word.

He had to find a way to do something to make up for the loss.

Perhaps these Ministry officials from various countries, all from Pure-blood Families, were the perfect gift.

Every one of them represented vast resources.

He knew his master was best at making use of everything behind these forces.

Even if...

After his master became Speaker of the Magical Congress, policy seemed to have changed, but these Pure-blood Families were still indispensable.

And so, he led the politicians and the Aurors they had brought with them, fighting as they went and looking for a precise way out of the melee amid the battle between the Aurors and the Magic Corps.

But as their group escaped the battlefield, countless Vines suddenly burst from every corner of the Street like venomous snakes.

Some even tore up the pavement, piercing straight through the concrete to wrap around everyone.

This sort of trick was nothing to worry about. Even setting aside a Wizard of Barty's caliber, the well-trained Aurors present had countless ways to fend off such an attack.

But before they could even raise their Wands or open their mouths to cast a spell, a stony color spread across their bodies.

Full Body-Bind Curse!

Barty had never seen spellcasting like this. Every tendril of this Fantastic Plant was like a Wand casting a spell, and the magic glow of the Full Body-Bind Curse filled every place the Vines covered.

This attack couldn't even be countered by using a Counter-Curse to knock away the spell, since it also came with the physical attack of the Vines themselves.

"This won't stop me." Barty sneered and swung his Wand hard.
