Anton noticed a very troubling phenomenon within this Muggle organization.
It was not the Muggles' probing into Wizards, which was only human nature and understandable. If they provoked him, he could slaughter them in passing. He had not taken it to heart.
It all stemmed from the "information" he saw through the surveillance cameras and telephone lines with his magical eyes, information formed from strands of colored lines.
Following network cables to attack people sounded impressive, but Anton had keenly noticed something different.
—This transmitted "information" carried "emotions," "will," and even emotions so intense they had reached the utmost extreme.
Anton silently stared at the telephone wires casually climbing along the wall. His wand lightly touched one of them, and waves of sobbing reached his ears.
"Waaah... I don't want to break up... Thomas... you bastard... You said you'd stay with me for the rest of your life..."
Muggles possessed magic too.
Everything in the world possessed magic. In fact, intelligent creatures possessed magic at the weakest level; the lower a magical creature's intelligence, the stronger the magic within it. Magical plants with almost no intelligence contained the strongest magic. A little ordinary Dittany could heal a severed arm or neck. Of course, the most powerful magic belonged to great nature itself, to the universe.
Muggles simply lacked the ability to wield magic. They were merely missing that tiny bit of so-called "Wizard bloodline."
In the real world, Muggles' emotions and magic could not cause any changes. Yet at the deepest level of the Wizarding World, they were gradually creating the most wondrous transformations.
Countless ordinary yet great individual lives had together nurtured Dementors, nurtured Dark Magic creatures, and brought about changes in moonlight and every other phenomenon imbued with magic.
Anton even felt that Wizards, too, had been jointly
