"Hey, Weasley~" Startled, Anton raised an eyebrow. He found that some people he usually was not very familiar with had begun greeting him too, but he still smiled and nodded.
"Hello, Senior!" These were the young wizards of Slytherin. They all respected this powerful senior of theirs, who had invented the Slytherin fine tradition of the 'Wall-Hanging Lamp.'
He smiled and nodded.
Anton liked Hogwarts. Here, most young wizards did not change their attitudes too much just because he was powerful. Unlike those outside, some of whom looked as if they wanted to kneel and worship him, while others were so wary they trembled with nervousness.
Neville had told him that the students were all speculating whether his strength had already reached roughly the level of the professors, and many admired him greatly.
But that was all.
This was good. There was sufficient respect, but it would not place him so high above them that he became untouchable. It made getting along with everyone quite comfortable.
Especially after capturing that Masked Man billowing green smoke today, quite a few younger students looked at him with worshipful eyes, their faces filled with the longing of, I want to become like that too when I'm older. They were simply adorable.
