The Shield of the Dead Charm was clearly well suited to Ron. In his words, it gave him the feeling of being protected from every direction, an inexplicable and unique sense of security.

"You are even completely opposed to this spell. I think the Shield Charm is the defensive spell best suited to you."

Hermione still could not understand. "I can choose to protect myself too! That's clearly what I thought, but I still can't cast it!"
