Professor Charity Burbage stood at the front, gently explaining various studies of Muggle society. Hermione frowned throughout, several times wanting to interrupt the professor and say that it was not like that at all.

Even Professor Burbage, who was so accepting of Muggles, retained a haughty attitude in her academic work. Much of what she described about the true state of Muggles was based, to a certain extent, on assumptions.

Wizards were arrogant, after all.

Yet wizards also paid such close attention to everything in the Muggle World.

Hermione looked around. Not many students had enrolled in this class, and she was astonished to discover that the ones listening most attentively were actually the Slytherins.

Not just Draco—even idiots like Goyle and Blaise were diligently taking notes.

That studious appearance made Hermione feel inexplicably uncomfortable.

These people studied Muggles not to understand them, but to deal with them! She knew it!
