Based on a spell's properties, one could use its underlying principles to develop potions, ritual magic, or even alchemical objects and magical items.

This approach was uncommon in the Wizarding World, and extremely difficult.

Under Anton's constant influence, the Cabin's other members had unwittingly begun moving in this direction.

Anton had always shared his knowledge with those around him without reservation, never deliberately holding anything back.

He would rather others followed his path of magic too and produced results, pointing him toward new directions from different perspectives or providing valuable references.

The Old Wizard's "integration of charms and potions" had given Anton an excellent start, and had profoundly influenced the Cabin Members' research.

Everything in the world was connected. To trace those connections, Anton developed different forms of eye magic as tools, observing and drawing conclusions about the paths within them, then assembling them into a complete theoretical framework.

By comparison, George and Fred, the Twins, seemed more inclined toward the "wizard's" approach.

They conducted research through something closer to mysticism, or even intuition.

The vast majority of wizards throughout history had researched this way, relying on their own talents and spirituality.

With this approach, the strong were absurdly strong, while the weak were utterly hopeless.

"Building a theoretical framework—you're clearly here to save those hopeless cases." During their idle conversation, Anna laughed with delight. "So they weren't wrong to call you that. Weasley, our king!"

Anton shrugged, picked up a claw from the plate, and began gnawing on it.

It seemed to be some animal's little hand. It was chewier than a chicken foot and tasted excellent. "Perhaps."

Anna gave Anton a smiling glance, removed the monocular lens from her face, and lifted a small but thick-walled cauldron from beneath the Experiment Table, pouring some metal fragments into it.
