There's been a lot of messy information flying around these past couple of days, and some people may be worried that my novel, "The Gray Wizard," will be affected.
The answer is: not much. My readers' monthly tickets have kept me on the rankings and maintained my visibility.
I'm grateful. Thank you all for your support.
I'm truly grateful. Every time I post an update, I immediately see lots of people subscribing and reading. Although many people don't like to comment, so it never looks especially lively, I always feel incredibly satisfied at times like that.
Ha, so many people like the novel I wrote.
Hehe...
Let me be a little proud of myself.
As for "The Gray Wizard," I won't stop writing it because of this. The biggest factor is—poverty.
Authors need to earn a living and support their families. I have a wife, a little one in kindergarten, and a mortgage to pay. The pressure of daily life is intense, so I can't just do whatever I want.
Of course, the biggest reason is that I love writing web novels.
As someone with a strong desire to express himself, writing web novels is simply incredible. Compared to my previous jobs, it's a completely different experience.
I don't even feel like writing is work. Being able to do something I love and support my family with it is just wonderful.
I told my wife, "This is great. I've found my direction in life."
The works I create throughout the rest of my life will become proof that I existed in this world. They'll remind me that I lived, and they can prove it!
And now, about my next book.
Um, it seems a little early to bring this up, since there's still so much left to write in this
