Just as Harry Potter was flying backward toward the arms of the stone statue, a furious, anxious roar rang out, and a burly, fat figure rushed over.
It was Vernon. Vernon Dursley.
He wrapped one arm tightly around Harry's waist and clung with the other to the towering tree beside him.
But the gust pulling them backward was so powerful that he could feel his fingers slowly slipping from the tree trunk.
In the distance, the terrifying, bloodied Demon watched them with interest. He made no further move; otherwise, they wouldn't have had the chance to struggle like this.
The delay finally gave Harry time to react. He raised the Wand in his hand with all his might. He had to fight back!
He knew so many powerful Charms, and they were strong enough to fight back with.
"Expelliarmus!"
A flash of Magic, and Harry stared in shock as the Wand flew out of his hand, sailing through the air before dropping lightly into Barty Crouch Jr.'s.
When Harry looked over, Barty Crouch Jr. gave a snicker. "I know the Disarming Charm too."
"!!!"
Faced with the powerful Voldemort and Barty Crouch Jr., Harry fell into utter despair. He looked sadly at Vernon, who was holding him tight. The kindhearted boy could think of only one thing: he was going to get Uncle killed.
"Listen, Harry!"
Uncle Vernon struggled against the gale dragging them backward. "There's a slope over there. When I push you down it, run and find someone to help!"
"Don't worry about me. Do you understand? Don't worry about me!"
Harry stared blankly at Uncle Vernon. "Why...?"
Uncle Vernon didn't answer. He simply kicked the tree hard, then clutched Harry to his chest as the tremendous gale pulled them backward.
