Chapter Summaries

Chiga reached the Akatsuki’s Slums in the Land of Rain and presented Jiraiya’s letter to Konan, Nagato, and Yahiko. After they read Jiraiya’s message and learned why Chiga had come, the three leaders regarded him warily.

• Zabuza revealed that Naruto Uzumaki was the son of the Fourth Hokage, and Naruto collapsed from the shock before Second Pillar caught him.
• Kakashi Hatake admitted his guilt when Naruto demanded to know why he had never helped him, and Zabuza invited Naruto to leave Konoha and conquer the Land of Water with him.
