Seeing Madara with the Rinnegan so suddenly, his first reaction was to stop where he stood.

A chilling killing intent flashed through Madara's eyes. He stomped his foot and lunged at Obito.
Obito could not make sense of Madara's situation. Upon seeing that Madara had the Rinnegan, he vanished into the Kamui Dimension with a whoosh.
Madara could only stop.
He was not sure how Obito had tracked him down, nor was he sure when Obito might launch a sneak attack.
But being watched by Obito did not feel good at all.
Madara decided not to linger and swiftly headed toward Wind Province.

"You can track his movements at any time and hide in the Kamui Dimension whenever you want."
"No matter what, he can never outlast you."
Obito silently nodded. That was indeed true. He could locate Madara at any time.
There would be plenty of chances to test him.
