Simple and Crude

Senyo bit down on Karin's hand as well, rapidly drawing out her life energy.

He had resurrected three people. Karin merely looked a little pale, but otherwise showed no issues.

Senyo released her hand and pointed at the bottle of Water of Life she was holding.

"Drink it first and replenish the life force you lost."

At his words, a sly glint suddenly flashed through Karin's eyes, as though she were plotting some mischievous idea.

She shook the bottle in her hand and gave a vague explanation.

"Um... drinking it now will make me sleepy. It won't be too late to drink it after everything here has been dealt with."

Senyo carefully examined Karin's condition. Seeing that she was indeed still fairly stable, he did not press the matter further.

He then turned and walked over to Gaara, gently patting him on the shoulder as he comforted him.

"Your mother has only just awakened. Her mind may still be a little muddled, so keep her company and talk with her first."

Gaara nodded hard, wiping away the tears at the corners of his eyes with his sleeve as he choked out, "Thank you, Lord Senyo. I understand."

After saying that, he took a deep breath and tried his best to calm his turbulent emotions. Then he slowly walked over to Karura and reached out with both hands, tightly holding his mother's slightly cold palms.

There were two people in this world who treated him best. One was his mother, who had wanted to keep protecting him even after death. The other was Senyo.

Gaara stared fixedly at Senyo's back.
