Just as Sasuke felt utterly at a loss, a dark shadow suddenly flashed across the sky.

Itachi appeared in midair like a ghost.

His gaze was blazing as he instantly focused his eyes, and then his Mangekyō Sharingan flew open.

In an instant, ominous black flames erupted directly over "Obito's" body.

Sasuke's heart leaped with joy at the sight.

However, what he had not expected was this.

With a soft pop, the "Obito" shrouded in black flames suddenly exploded without warning, turning into a cloud of smoke that dispersed into the air.

So the "Obito" who had appeared inside Susanoo earlier had merely been a Shadow Clone!

Sasuke had already laid his father down.

He knew full well that staying here would not only accomplish nothing, but might instead place him in even greater danger.

So, after making his decision, he turned without hesitation, intending to retreat immediately.

Yet "Obito's" figure flickered like an illusion and vanished in an instant.

Sasuke's full-force strike missed completely, and the long sword in his hand carved a long arc through the air from sheer momentum.

Though Sasuke's reactions were exceptionally swift and he immediately corrected his posture after missing, he was still one step too slow.

At that moment, "Obito" had already slipped silently behind Sasuke like a ghost.

He extended a withered yet powerful hand, reaching straight for Sasuke's vulnerable neck.

Sasuke's eyes widened as his scarlet Sharingan spun rapidly.

His hands formed seals with phantom-like speed.

In an instant, a powerful current burst from
