One Shot to Ashes

The villages built around it had now become a sea of flames.

As for the families of the Sky Ninja and those dovish Sky Ninja,

they had all been captured inside Ancor Vantian.

They were all imprisoned in cells capable of extracting energy.

Obito and Moryo soon arrived at the central control room.

There was a massive metal throne here, covered in metallic lines, with several control levers and buttons.

"This is it. The one beside it is the control lever. This one is for climbing, this one controls steering, and pulling it back makes it hover."

Moryo explained everything to Obito one by one.

Although Obito was no longer young and had been through quite a lot, he had never piloted a flying fortress before. He was somewhat excited.

"Is there enough energy for ascent?" Obito asked to confirm.

Moryo replied, "Zero-Tails has already hatched. There's more than enough energy for ascent."

"This is the first ascent, so it'll consume quite a bit of energy."

"But with those Sky Ninja, we have enough. We need to leave as soon as possible, or it'll be troublesome if Konoha follows the trail here."

Obito nodded and sat in the chair, then began channeling energy into it.

The three lights below all began flashing. Dozens of seconds later, all three lights turned green.

Obito pulled the control lever, and the massive Ancor Vantian slowly began to shake.

The cells began absorbing their life energy in great quantities. The pain was as though they were being skinned alive and having their tendons pulled out.

The energy ignited the runes engraved upon Ancor Vantian.
