Kumogakure Makes Its Move

The Hengsang Mountain Range lay between the Land of Snow and the Land of Forests.

While this mountain range blocked all the cold currents, it also brought warmth to the Land of Forests.

When Senyo and the others had been in the Land of Forests, the temperature had not been particularly cold, hovering around ten degrees Celsius.

But once they crossed the mountain range and entered the Land of Snow,

the temperature instantly plunged below zero.

Shisui went off to continue his mission, leaving Senyo's team with five people.

Senyo, Karin, Sasuke, Kimimaro, and Haku.

They were now aboard a massive snow vehicle.

The vehicle bore both Konoha's leaf emblem and a scorpion symbol.

Sasori had specifically designed this thing for sale in polar regions.

The vehicle used a dual power source of electricity and Chakra. It had a tracked design, and its cabin was divided into upper and lower levels. The lower level contained the driver's cabin and lounge.

The upper level could unfold on all sides, turning into a huge terrace.

Heavy snow was falling from the sky. Aside from Sasuke, who was driving below in the driver's cabin,

everyone else was playing on the terrace.

Of them, Kimimaro and Haku were completely unafraid of the cold.

Kimimaro specialized in taijutsu, and not only was his resistance maxed out,

he could also generate a bone membrane beneath his skin, preventing his body heat from escaping at all.

Even in a place like this, he still wore only a thin shirt.

Yet Haku, who was likewise immune to the cold, wore a somewhat worn cotton coat.

The coat was clearly an old style, and it had become a little too small.

But Haku loved it.
