The Anbu's words left Pakura somewhat puzzled. She took the scroll and began reading it.
The contents of the scroll were simple: there was a traitor within Sunagakure.
The intelligence on Suna City's fortifications had been leaked by this traitor.
It even thoughtfully specified which traitors had been in contact with Konoha.
At the end, there was one final sentence: he would come again.
Sunagakure did not have many experts, and several faces immediately surfaced in Pakura's mind.
Could they be Elder Kazuo's people?
Many of the village's Elders were pessimistic about this war.
Kazuo was the most negative among them.
The Sunagakure shinobi named in the intelligence were all close to Elder Kazuo.
But Pakura did not know whether these people truly belonged to Kazuo, or whether Kazuo had instructed them to become traitors.
Arrest them outright?
No, that would let them off too easily.

Her thoughts churned, and she quickly decided to hold her position for now.

The Anbu hesitated before replying, "The other party used Earth Release to infiltrate the outskirts of our village and leave it there."
"The other party was very familiar with the range of our defenses. For Earth Release of this level, I suspect it was... Black Zetsu or Obito."
Burrowing underground was an ability many Earth Release experts possessed, but ordinary Earth Release would more or less leave traces beneath the ground.
The Mayfly Technique was different. It was Wood Release, essentially merging with the earth and moving rapidly through the soil.
