White Zetsu Obito clasped his hands behind his head, his gaze shifting back and forth between Kakashi and Nohara Rin.
"When are you two planning to get married?"
"Cough, cough, cough..."
Kakashi had not expected Obito to suddenly say something like that.
He immediately coughed a few times. "Not anytime soon."
White Zetsu Obito nodded, a trace of regret flashing across his face.
But he quickly concealed it.
"I want to go back to the Uchiha Clan Compound first. I want to visit Grandmother's grave."
Kakashi had heard this request before, so he was not too surprised.
"Let's go. We'll go with you."
The three walked side by side toward the Uchiha Clan Compound.
The three who had once had Nohara Rin standing in the middle now had Kakashi in the middle instead.
"Konoha has changed so much. There are so many more merchants outside too."
As they walked, White Zetsu Obito marveled at the changes around Konoha.
Rin responded with a smile.
"These are all changes brought about after Teacher reformed Konoha. Konoha was nowhere near this prosperous before."
"Mission rewards are generous now, but most of them are escort missions. There are far fewer combat-oriented missions."
White Zetsu Obito adjusted the Konoha forehead protector on his forehead.
"That's good too. The mortality rate for missions used to be too high."
"If possible, I'd like to just do escort missions too..."
