Yue Ming felt his vision blur. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself on a massive island shrouded in clouds and mist.
The island was incomparably vast. Besides being enveloped in clouds and mist, endless lightning surged around it, and powerful auras filled every corner of the island.
Thunder Island was very special. If Rain Mountain was where the Virtual Universe Company's core members below the immortal level resided, then Thunder Island was where core members above the immortal level lived.

At the very center of Thunder Island stood a central mountain range. This range, which pierced straight into the clouds, was home entirely to existences above the immortal level.
The mountainside belonged to the various Universe Venerables. The stronger a Universe Venerable was, the closer their palace was to the summit.
As for the summit, only powerhouses with the strength of a Lord of the Universe could set foot there. Some Top Universe Overlords also resided at the summit.
Thus, being able to build one's own palace atop Thunder Island's central mountain meant one had entered the ranks of the universe's foremost powerhouses.
Led by Venerable Xuan Yue, the two flew from the outskirts of Thunder Island toward its center. They did not linger along the way and soon reached the summit, entering one of the palaces.
