Background

The Human Race rose from a powerful race into the Original Universe's foremost force under Yuan, later known as the Primal Ancestor. Yuan created the Virtual Universe, cultivated numerous juniors, and made the Human Race strong enough that even the Ancestral God Cult avoided provoking it. His later suppression by the Original Universe's will caused the race's power to decline. 129 130

After the Primal Ancestor's suppression, the City Lord of Chaos guarded the Initial Universe and the Great Axe Founder became the Universe's Strongest, preserving the Human Race's status as a peak race under immense external pressure. 157

Yue Ming's rise transformed its position. His strength, treasure acquisitions, and alliance with Mountain Lord equipped the race's Lords of the Universe with Supreme Treasures, enabling the Human Race to defeat the coalition of seven major forces and lone Universe Supreme Masters. 151 157 159

The Human Race's five major powers jointly manage Chaos City:

• Highest Council — A large council attended by Universe Venerables, Lords of the Universe, and Universe's Strongest; it handles major events and matters affecting Venerable-level interests. 116 184
• Giant Axe Meeting — A smaller high-level council for important racial affairs, generally attended by the Lords of the Universe and Universe's Strongest. 116 141

• Talented cultivators are heavily supported rather than systematically suppressed, giving the race a comparatively strong cultivation environment. 2
