Child Sick with a Fever, Taking a Day Off

This morning, my child suddenly developed a fever of 39.3°C, so we hurried to the hospital.

By noon, after we got back, it seemed to improve a little. But in the afternoon, the fever suddenly spiked to 39.9°C, and even fever medicine could not bring it down. So we rushed back to the hospital, and did not get home until after nine in the evening. I was truly exhausted.

I can only take the day off today. I am terribly sorry.
