At first, Old Ox had only been writing for fun and hadn't even thought he could get a contract.

Old Ox actually became a level-five author too.
Haha, Old Ox actually gave it a try back in 2018. It was also a Zerg novel, but after writing over a hundred thousand words and repeatedly failing to get a contract, he went back to work honestly.
At the end of 2023, Old Ox happened to have some free time, so he picked it back up and started writing novels again.
At the beginning, even writing 4,000 words a day was extremely difficult for Old Ox. Things only gradually got better later on.
Old Ox was still fairly satisfied with this book.
Though toward the later stages, he started running out of steam, and the plot might not have been quite so perfect.
Along the way, Old Ox was deeply grateful for every reader's help. Without your support, he could never have kept going.
Several big shots in the group—Qing Deng Zui Ren Jian, Xie Mu s, Devour Diehard, and others—often chatted and discussed things in the group before.
Many of the ideas came from them.
Crowdfunding a novel was no joke.
There were also many fellow readers, such as Wine Enters the Sorrowful Gut and Turns into Tears of Longing, Zhishi Xuebao, Tiāntáng, Gēngxīn Guài, and others, who offered suggestions in the group.
