Ch. 463Shennong Appears, Takes Ji Chang Away
Shennong arrived at Xi Qi after Six-Eared Macaque departed, condemned Ji Chang for letting the Saints’ sects drag the Human Race into their conflict, and took him to Huoyun Cave. The Chan Sect and Western Sect were left shaken, with West Qi leaderless and their plans disrupted.
- After Six-Eared Macaque left, the Chan Sect Golden Immortals and Western Sect figures recovered from their terror while Ji Chang urged Jiang Ziya to rebuild West Qi.
- Shennong appeared before the people of Xi Qi, and Ji Chang and the Human Race commoners knelt to greet the Earthly Emperor.
- Shennong rebuked Ji Chang for inviting cultivators into Human lands and sacrificing the Human Race for his ambition, then decided Ji Chang could no longer remain in West Qi.
- Guangchengzi tried to stop Shennong from taking Ji Chang, but he and the other immortals were too frightened and injured to object.
- Shennong warned the Chan Sect and Western Sect not to treat the Human Race as a tool, then carried the unconscious Ji Chang to Huoyun Cave.
- After Shennong departed, Guangchengzi collapsed, and Chijingzi lamented that West Qi had been left without a leader.
