In the spartan office, Professor Breen stood beside an enormous scale model. Flickering candlelight etched a stern silhouette across his young face.
He merely stood there with a smile, yet Luna felt the imposing aura of a grandmaster wash over her, making her narrow her eyes.
"Good evening, Professor Breen—"
After a brief daze, Luna tilted her head slightly, the corners of her lips curling up. Her voice was as clear and cool as a mountain stream.
"Strictly speaking, it's already early morning, Luna—"
Amosta nodded to the inexplicably excited Ministry of Magic employee, then looked warmly at Luna as she skipped over to his side and unabashedly craned her neck to examine the scale model.
"Would you like some tea? It looks like you've come a long way."
"Thank you—"
Her gaze fixed on the model, and Luna was immediately drawn to the unusual building at the center of the circular outer wall and inscribed regular octagonal construction zone.
"But I still need to hurry back to sleep later, Professor Breen, so there's no need—"
Her eyes flickered as she pointed at the strange yet magnificent tower at the center of the model, which divided the surrounding area into eight equal sections with radiating lines.
"May I ask what that is, Professor Breen?"
"Oh, although the reconstruction plans for Diagon Alley are still strictly confidential, I don't see why I can't tell you."
Amosta did not rush to ask why Luna had come. He simply smiled.
"That is the Ministry of Magic's new office building, designed by me. It's a little taller than the MACUSA building, with a total of one hundred and eight floors.
"It is shaped like an inverted tornado. In fact, once it is completed, every floor will be able to rotate around its central support.
