Amosta's expression was cold and stern. Standing in the void, he silently looked down at the surging ocean below.

This disorderly sea was Pastore's consciousness. Every drop of moving water within it represented a thought that had flashed through his mind since his arrival in this world. Yet under the lashing of the black lightning and the violent collisions of the currents, every thought contained within those "droplets" had been shattered.

Amosta watched the raging sea. After a long while, he slowly raised his head and looked at the culprit responsible for throwing this ocean of consciousness into such chaos.

With one step, Amosta arrived at the end of the sea of consciousness. This sea floated in boundless emptiness, and beyond its borders was absolute darkness.

A colossal vortex, comparable to the mythical Charybdis, churned and devoured the entire sea of consciousness. Every second, it endured tens of thousands of lightning lashes, making the furious vortex itself let out agonized wails.

Amosta frowned slightly and looked up at the dark-red canopy of the sky. After pondering the black lightning emerging from nothingness for a moment, he slowly raised his right hand and spread his fingers toward the sky in a supporting gesture.
