As Hogwarts prepared to host the Triwizard Tournament, Amosta pursued plans involving an alchemical Learning Machine and Remus’s release while Hermione became an unexpected fourth champion. The first task approached amid Hermione’s preparations, Harry and Ron’s quarrel, and suspicions that Karkaroff and Snape were involved in the plot against her.
