Two people from different universes, brought together by unknown starlight, made a promise here.

Douluo God Realm.

At the edge of the God Realm, a vast, boundless Forest of Life silently guarded the realm. Towering ancient trees rose from within the forest, their branches and leaves luxuriant enough to seem as though they held up half the sky. Sunlight filtered through the dense foliage, scattering mottled patches of light and shadow and lending this sacred land an added air of mystery and tranquility.

The trees in the Forest of Life were all strange. Their trunks were emerald green, as if carved from jade, while their leaves were translucent Dark Green. A faint aura of life radiated from those Dark Green leaves, a sight so wondrous it inspired awe.

The central clearing of the Forest of Life was covered in bluish-green grass, with all manner of flowers blooming in a riot of color, exceptionally beautiful. The life aura here was also the richest, as though every tiny particle in the air had condensed from life force.

At the very center stood a colossal tree, its canopy covering all the surrounding clearing.

The central clearing of the Forest of Life was covered in bluish-green grass, with all manner of flowers blooming in a riot of color, exceptionally beautiful. The life aura here was also the richest, as though every tiny particle in the air had condensed from life force.

If one stood beneath the Tree of Life and looked up, all one could see were layer upon layer of branches and leaves stretching to the limits of sight. Sunlight streamed through the gaps in the leaves, scattering specks of light like countless sources of life pulsing with vitality, bestowing endless nourishment and vigor upon this land.

Within this vibrant central clearing, the rhythm of life was everywhere. Every heartbeat merged with the cadence of nature.

The Tree of Life scattered countless emerald-green motes of light, which fell upon an incomparably beautiful goddess beneath it and accentuated her peerless elegance. With her lush green hair, aqua-green gown, and the aura of life constantly radiating from her body, this goddess was none other than the Goddess of Life, one of the five great God Kings of the God Realm.

The Goddess of Life raised her head to glance at the Life Ancient Tree, then slowly closed her eyes. She murmured something under her breath as strands of emerald light began to radiate from her body.

The immense Life Ancient Tree immediately erupted with an enormous surge of life force. Every leaf lit up, making the entire space seem to transform into an emerald-green world.

Ever since the Sea God had ascended to the God Realm, the God of Destruction had clashed with him. The God of Destruction had always wanted to expand the God Realm, which should have been a good thing, but the Sea God claimed he sensed a crisis looming over the God Realm and had therefore continually opposed him. This made the God of Destruction, who had already held grievances against the Sea God, dislike him even more.

Had it not been for the birth of the Sea God's daughter, which made the God of Destruction, who desperately wanted a child, restrain his destructive urges, their relationship would likely have become even worse.

Thus, unwilling to see the two meet in battle, the Goddess of Life held a Life Prayer Ritual every so often, using the Life Ancient Tree to divine fortune and misfortune. Yet after many divinations, she had found no sign of any crisis in the God Realm, leading her to wonder whether the Sea God had been lying merely to oppose the God of Destruction.

However, the Goddess of Life, who knew the Sea God's character reasonably well, did not assume the worst of him. Instead, because of his premonition, she conducted the Life Prayer Ritual many times. She believed the Sea God would not make baseless claims, so she had never given up divining the God Realm's future.

As the Goddess of Life chanted, the emerald-green world began to change. A speck of golden light emerged within the green world. When it first appeared, it was deep within the Life Ancient Tree, but it quickly spread outward, first through the trunk, then the branches, and finally the leaves. Before long, the emerald green had been completely replaced by gold.

The Goddess of Life was overjoyed. She had just divined the future of the God Realm and, incidentally, the future of herself and the God of Destruction. The future divined by the Life Prayer Ritual was divided into fortune and misfortune: gold represented fortune, while red represented misfortune.

That surging golden light indicated that this divination was one of great fortune, filling the Goddess of Life with delight.

Then the Goddess of Life frowned. She and the God of Destruction were husband and wife, as well as two of the five great God Kings of the God Realm. What could possibly be a great fortune for them as a couple?

The Life Prayer Ritual's divination was very vague. It only revealed that something beneficial to her and the God of Destruction was about to happen. As for what it was, even the Goddess of Life could not determine it.

The future was uncertain. Even as a God King, she could only glimpse a tiny corner of it. Truly seeing the future was something even the Dragon God, who had once dominated the universe, could not accomplish, much less her.

If the Dragon God had been able to see the future, he would not have fallen.

At that moment, the Goddess of Life, stationed at the edge of the God Realm, sensed fluctuations from Space-Time Turbulence. Her expression changed as she instantly rose to her feet and looked into the cosmic void beyond the God Realm.

For the God Realm, Space-Time Turbulence was exceedingly terrifying. It had no effect on material planets, but to a collective of divine thought like the God Realm, it was a natural disaster. The God Realm had experienced Space-Time Turbulence once a million years ago. That incident had caused one-third of the God Realm to collapse, countless low-level gods to perish, and immense losses to be suffered.

Only through the combined efforts of the five great God Kings had the God Realm barely been protected. Now, of the older generation of God Kings, only she and the God of Destruction remained. The new Evil God and Goodness God had not yet matured, and the Asura God was not in much better condition. If Space-Time Turbulence on the same scale as that of a million years ago occurred, the God Realm would be in danger.

Just as the Goddess of Life was about to notify the God of Destruction and the other gods, she discovered that this Space-Time Turbulence was extremely weak and would not reach the God Realm at all. This made her breathe a sigh of relief.

The Life Prayer Ritual had not foretold misfortune, but great fortune instead. Could it be related to this Space-Time Turbulence?

The Goddess of Life looked curiously at the Space-Time Turbulence. Then, to her surprise, she discovered that a streak of starlight had burst out from within it. Perhaps because its energy had been exhausted, the starlight had dimmed, revealing a Silver-Haired Girl and a Spiritual Entity within.

"Is this... an outsider like the Sea God?"

The Goddess of Life looked curiously at the starlight. She was no stranger to outsiders and bore them no hostility. Otherwise, the Sea God, who was also an outsider, could never have become a god, much less become one of the five great God Kings and the current Law Enforcement God of the God Realm.
