After pondering for a moment, the Goddess of Life turned and headed back toward the Divine Realm. She needed to persuade the God of Destruction to bestow a Divine Trial.

The God of Destruction's Divine Throne was exerting an increasingly powerful influence on him. Not long ago, he had gotten into another dispute with the Sea God. This was also why she was so eager for Firefly and Liu Xing to inherit her and the God of Destruction's Divine Thrones. Instead, in this deserted valley, she discovered two children who looked only four or five years old—a boy and a girl. They had the same silver hair and blue-pink eyes, and looked like either siblings or an older sister and younger brother.

The woman's pupils contracted. Wilderness. Children. The first thing that came to her mind was not that they were children lost from some family, but Spirit Beasts that had taken human form!

The woman's lips curled up as she chuckled. "Did this lady hit the jackpot the moment she stepped outside today? Two transformed Spirit Beasts, Hundred Thousand Year Soul Bones—this lady is coming for you."

At the same time, deep within the Star Dou Great Forest, within the human forbidden zone known as the Land of Great Misfortune, a colossal creature in an alternate space beneath an emerald lake opened its purple vertical pupils.

Just then, a Black-Haired Gold-Eyed figure, two meters tall with a pair of Black Dragon Horns atop his head and an aura of overwhelming majesty and dominance, instantly appeared on the shore of the Emerald Lake. He dropped to one knee and said with utmost reverence, "My Lord, you have finally awakened."

The colossal creature ignored the black-haired figure. Instead, it gazed into the distance and murmured, "Life..."

Looking at the Blue-Haired Woman blocking their path, Liu Xing's mouth twitched. It seemed the Goddess of Life could be unreliable too. Not only had she sent Firefly and him into this godforsaken mountain ravine, but worse still, they had run into a major boss the moment they arrived!
