Chapter Summaries

Hongjun told Niu Ben that the Xuanhuang Realm was as powerful as the Primordial World and that they would strike first, calling on him to release the Wu Clan and Demon Clan for the war. Niu Ben then sent his father Niu Ba back to the Ox Clan with orders to prepare for battle and a scroll containing an independent Innate Blessed Land, before heading to the Netherworld Underworld.

• Hongjun revealed that the Xuanhuang Realm was no weaker than the Primordial World and said he and the Heavenly Dao planned to attack it before it invaded.
• Hongjun told Niu Ben to release the Wu Clan and Demon Clan from the Witch Realm and Yao Realm so they could fight the Xuanhuang Realm.
• Niu Ben agreed to Hongjun's instructions and left the Purple Cloud Palace to return to the Primordial Wilderness.
• Niu Ba met Niu Ben and said the Ox Clan would prepare to compete for Saint Crystals in the coming war.
• Niu Ben gave Niu Ba a scroll containing an independent Innate Blessed Land for the Ox Clan to use, then set off for the Netherworld Underworld.

Niu Ben visited Di Jun and Emperor Taiyi to order the Demon Clan to join the coming war against the Xuanhuang Realm. Di Jun accepted and saw the conflict as a chance to win Saint Crystals and merit; after leaving the Yao Realm, Niu Ben entered the Witch Realm, where Dijiang and the other Ancestor Witches greeted him respectfully.

• Niu Ben appeared before Di Jun and Emperor Taiyi in the Yao Realm and announced that the Primordial World would soon wage war against the Xuanhuang Realm.

After Niu Ben left, Dijiang suggested his past actions had been for the Wu Clan’s good, and Huang Tian briefed the Human Race’s leaders about the coming war.

• Niu Ben told Dijiang and the Ancestor Witches that an Outer Realm World had breached the Spatial Barrier and asked whether the Wu Clan would fight for the Primordial World.
• Qiang Liang asked whether the war would reward merit like the battle against the Universe Devouring Realm, and Niu Ben said the Dao Ancestor had promised merit, potentially including Saint Crystals.
• Dijiang agreed that the Wu Clan would join the war, and Niu Ben asked whether the Ancestor Witches still held grudges over his stopping their decisive battle and exiling them to the Witch Realm.

As the Primordial World prepared for war against the Xuanhuang Realm, Huang Tian refused to ask Niu Ben to secure a Saint Crystal for the Human Race, while Kunpeng sought help from the Western Teachings. Hongjun and the Heavenly Dao Incarnation began building a passage through the breach into the Xuanhuang Realm, and the chapter ended with the factions still preparing for war.

• Cangjie asked Huang Tian to seek Niu Ben's help in earning the Human Race a Saint Crystal, but Huang Tian said the Human Race had to rely on its own strength.
• Kunpeng asked Jieyin and Zhunti to help him contend for a Saint Crystal, but Zhunti only told him to slay foreign enemies; after Kunpeng left, the two Saints discussed making him devoted to the Western Teachings.
• The Three Pure Ones summoned the Three Teachings Disciples and told them to prepare for the coming war.

After Hongjun summoned the forces of the Primordial World to Purple Heaven Palace, Haotian and the leaders of the major factions mobilized their armies for war against the Xuanhuang Realm. Niu Ben opened the Witch Realm and Yao Realm and ordered their armies to assemble at Purple Heaven Palace.

• Hongjun’s transmission prompted Haotian to rally the Heavenly Court army and lead it toward Purple Heaven Palace to fight the Outer Domain Enemies.
• Huang Tian gathered the Human Race’s leaders and experts, then led them toward Purple Heaven Palace to fight for their race’s future fortune.
• Niu Ba assembled the Ox Clan Army and marched with it toward Purple Heaven Palace.
• The Three Pure Ones led the Three Teachings Disciples, while Jieyin and Zhunti led the Western Teachings forces toward the war.
• Nuwa set out with her disciples, and Niu Ben sent Ancestor Minghe and other Underworld experts to Purple Heaven Palace before ordering the Wu Clan and Demon armies there as well.

The Primordial Alliance Army invaded the Xuanhuang Realm through a reverse passage, only to find its forces assembled and learn that the Xuanhuang Dao Ancestor had anticipated their attack. As the Xuanhuang army advanced, Haotian led the Heavenly Court army into battle.

• The Wu Clan and Demon Clan armies joined the factions gathering outside the Purple Firmament Palace.
• Hongjun and the Primordial World Heavenly Dao Incarnation opened a reverse passage, and the Primordial Alliance Army followed them into the Xuanhuang Realm.
• Niu Ben and the other Saints sensed that the Xuanhuang Realm had many powerful Saints, while its army quickly gathered before them.

Haotian and the Primordial World forces charged into battle against the Xuanhuang Realm, driven by the chance to obtain Saint Crystals. Saint Taishang defeated Guiyuan with his supreme treasures, while Primordial Heavenly Lord remained pressured by Yanhuang and Shuanghan as he brought out the Pangu Banner.

• Haotian led the charge against the Xuanhuang Realm army, and Quasi-Saints, Sub-Saints, and other Primordial World forces rushed in after him.
• Saint Taishang and the other Primordial Saints began fighting the Xuanhuang Realm Saints above the battlefield.
• Saint Taishang countered Guiyuan's Five Elements attacks with the Taiji Diagram, then used the Mysterious Yellow Exquisite Pagoda and Taiji Diagram to break down Guiyuan's strike and send him flying.

Primordial Heavenly Lord used the Pangu Banner to overwhelm Yanhuang and Shuanghan, while Tongtian Cult Master fought Lutian with the Qingping Sword and Four Immortal Slaying Swords. The chapter left Lutian suppressed and preparing a blood-lit technique to turn the fight around.

• Primordial Heavenly Lord struck Yanhuang and Shuanghan with Chaos Sword Qi, breaking through their attacks and damaging Shuanghan's cold sword.

• Lutian burned his Origin Essence to flee from Tongtian, who chose not to pursue him.

Batian, Di Jun, Dijiang, and Niu Ba fought Saints from the Xuanhuang Realm, each showcasing their power against their opponents. Zhunti failed to subdue Batian, Burning Heaven fled from Di Jun, Dijiang continued battling the Void Saint, and Niu Ba charged Mountain Suppressor with glowing horns.

• Zhunti used the Seven Treasures Wonderful Tree to nullify Batian's attacks and drain his strength, but Batian escaped with a secret art before Zhunti could take him to the Western Paradise of the Primordial Wilderness.
• Di Jun overwhelmed Burning Heaven with True Sun Fire, and Burning Heaven fled rather than continue fighting.

Niu Ba battled Mountain Suppressor Saint while Niu Ben faced three Saints of the Xuanhuang Realm and revealed overwhelming strength. After Niu Ben shattered Sky Ripper’s hammer, Void Severer launched a sword attack against him.

• Niu Ba charged Mountain Suppressor, tore open his rocky armor, and smashed a towering mountain with his head.
• Mountain Suppressor grew alarmed by Niu Ba’s relentless strength and tried to flee, but Niu Ba pursued him through the air.
• Sky Ripper, Void Severer, and Trapped Dragon confronted Niu Ben, who calmly accepted their challenge.
• Sky Ripper struck Niu Ben with his giant hammer, but Niu Ben caught it one-handed and crushed it, sending Sky Ripper flying with an injured hand.

Niu Ben effortlessly broke the Xuanhuang Realm Saints’ attacks and drove them from the battlefield. Below the Saint realm, the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors held their ground with a Human Path formation, while reinforcements and Haotian shifted the fighting in the human race’s favor.

• Niu Ben caught and shattered Void Severer Saint’s sword light, then broke the Trapped Dragon Saint’s Kunlong Grand Formation with the roars of three Chaos Divine Oxen.
• Niu Ben struck Sky Ripper through his defense and badly wounded him with a punch.

Haotian was ambushed and forced to recover, while Ksitigarbha King killed thirteen Quasi-Saints; Haotian returned to the battlefield before he had fully healed to resume hunting them.

• Four hundred years later, Niu Ben used the World-Destroying Millstone to severely wound Kunlong, who escaped to the Xuanhuang Realm and feared only its Ancestor could suppress Niu Ben.
• Six hundred years later, the Primordial Alliance Army gained the advantage in a major battle because Kunlong was absent.
• Seven Xuanhuang Realm Quasi-Saints ambushed Haotian, and Jade Pool and the Heavenly Court rescued him after he was badly wounded.
• While Haotian recuperated, Ksitigarbha King killed thirteen isolated Xuanhuang Realm Quasi-Saints in a hundred years.

• Xuanhuang Dao Ancestor merged with the Xuanhuang Realm’s Eye of Heavenly Dao and unleashed a final attack powered by the realm’s origin.
• Hongjun summoned the Primordial World Heavenly Dao, and together they struck Xuanhuang Dao Ancestor’s giant palm with Purple Cloud Divine Lightning and the Light of Purification.

• Beings across the Xuanhuang Realm panicked when the Xuanhuang Dao Ancestor was suppressed and slain, while Niu Ben wondered why the surviving Xuanhuang Saints had not been killed for their origins.
• The Xuanhuang Realm collapsed into Chaos, and Niu Ben led the Primordial alliance through the spatial passage back to the Primordial World.

At the Purple Firmament Palace, Hongjun announced that he would choose one Quasi-Saint to receive a Saint Position, leaving Haotian, Ksitigarbha King, Zhen Yuanzi, Minghe, Kunpeng, and the others eager to be selected.

• Kunpeng worried that his Military Merit might not earn him a Saint Crystal and resented Ksitigarbha King's battlefield achievements.
• Jieyin and Zhunti hoped Ksitigarbha King would receive a Saint Position, while worrying that Haotian might be chosen instead.
