First, let me report on the author's condition. I'd had a high fever for two days straight, climbing to 39°C now and then, with the highest reaching 39.5°C. I was completely weak and groggy, my head felt like it was exploding. Luckily, my mom came over to take care of me, or I really don't know how I would've gotten through it. At a time like this, there was only one thought in my mind: it was so wonderful to have Mom here! (Crying) She'd caught it too and hadn't fully recovered, yet she still got up in the middle of the night to wipe my hands, face, and feet to cool me down, replace my fever patches, and make me late-night snacks. Only a mother could be this good!
