"Dreams?"
Andy thought for a moment, then said, "I just like magic. I want to learn every kind of magic in the world, explore the nature of magical power, and pursue the limits of magic."
"More than anything else, I like studying magic."
The Little Witch still had a strong sense of justice, so topics like immortality, soul-splitting, forbidden experiments... those definitely couldn't be mentioned.
Otherwise, the Little Witch would turn around and personally escort Andy to Azkaban.
Hermione nodded. "I see!"
"What about you?"
Andy asked in return, "You study so hard. Is it to achieve some dream?"
Hermione thought carefully. What was she studying so hard for?
To get good grades? The Little Witch blushed a little.
"I like magic too. I'm the only Witch in my family."
Hermione said somewhat embarrassedly, "I don't have any particular dream for now. We can talk about that later!"
"By the way, has Malfoy come looking for you?" The Little Witch decisively changed the subject.
Why would Malfoy come looking for me? Andy froze.
But then Andy remembered that Malfoy had said he would come talk to him privately after driving Quirrell away.
"No!"
Andy shook his head. "Maybe he forgot."
But although he said that, Andy felt that something was off.
Andy had not interacted much with Malfoy, but children like him were actually easy to read. Andy did not think Malfoy would forget about something like this.
"That's good!" Hermione let out a sigh of relief.
The Little Witch did not like Malfoy. She also found Harry and Ron rather unpleasant.
She just felt they were not good kids.
"Alright, don't worry about such unimportant things. Let's keep practicing!" Andy ended the conversation.
Ever since he had talked about Malfoy with Hermione, Andy had deliberately kept an eye on Malfoy for several days.
The kid was still as frivolous as ever, swaggering all over Hogwarts every day with his two lackeys, Goyle and Crabbe.
Like the heavens were first and he was second.
Come to think of it, rich second-generation kids like Malfoy only had two possible life scripts.
Either he was the male lead in a romance novel, willing to go through fire and water for the female lead, climbing mountains of blades and crossing seas of flame without regret even if it meant death nine times over.
Or he was a cannon-fodder villain in a power fantasy, existing solely to provide the protagonist with experience. He would come out now and then to disgust the protagonist, while conveniently highlighting the protagonist's shining moments.
That was how all the novels and TV dramas from Andy's previous life played out, anyway.
Andy felt that Malfoy had drawn the second script.
This kid had taken the narrow road! If Andy had transmigrated into Malfoy, the first thing he would have done was pursue Hermione and stage a grand, undying love story with her.
Even the second female lead was already there: that Slytherin girl called Pansy Parkinson.
The villainous boss would be Old Malfoy.
If Malfoy pursued Hermione, "Harry Potter" would instantly turn from a male-led power fantasy into a female-led romance novel. Andy believed that even Rowling would not mind revising the plot and writing Harry off directly.
Cause of death: giving his life for Hermione.
What a pity.
Andy sighed. "Harry Potter" had now become a male-led system power fantasy. There was no longer any place in this book for you people.
This was what happened when you missed life's opportunities! Hermione was more or less the original female lead. From the perspective of a female-led romance novel, Andy figured that as the male lead, he would score at least eighty points.
He was handsome, gifted, and fairly strong. His family background was average, but he was ambitious, and he also had a cheat at his side.
Even if Hermione threw tantrums and caused trouble everywhere, Andy believed he had the ability to handle everything. And that was one of the indispensable qualities of a male lead in a female-led romance novel.
Andy felt that his fate was pretty good.
Whether viewed from the perspective of a male-led system power fantasy or a female-led romance novel, he was a qualified male lead.
Who said transmigrators could not defeat the children of destiny? Defying fate would begin with pursuing Hermione! Because of this, although Andy vaguely felt that something was wrong with Malfoy, he did not take it to heart.
The original protagonist Harry Potter and the current power-fantasy protagonist Andy Collins were both at Hogwarts. With such a powerful lineup, could they not handle one Malfoy?...
Several more days passed.
The moment Andy stepped out of Ravenclaw's Common Room, he smelled the sweet, enticing scent of roasted pumpkin in the corridor.
Halloween was approaching.
The castle's decorations had changed overnight. Pumpkin lanterns floated in every corner, and whenever a Little Wizard passed by, bats would fly out of the lanterns to frighten them.
Of course, what flew out might also be Peeves.
If an unlucky Little Wizard ran into Peeves, they might get startled, or they might get drenched in dirty water.
Professor McGonagall had already warned Peeves that he was not allowed to use paint today.
Groups of ghosts wandered through the castle, making their final preparations for that night's ghost party.
The festive atmosphere in the castle was thick, but that did not stop the Little Wizards from continuing their classes.
The professors also took advantage of the holiday spirit.
In Charms Class, Professor Flitwick taught everyone a new spell—the Levitation Charm.
As long as one mastered the Levitation Charm, one could make pumpkins float.
However, the Little Wizards could only use feathers for practice.
Andy had learned this spell just by reading the book once, but the Little Wizards' performances still opened his eyes.
Neville was like a Squib, Ron waved his wand as though he were wielding a sword, and Harry was slightly better, but for now he could only make his feather move a little.
The situation on Ravenclaw's side was about the same, but at least they practiced according to Professor Flitwick's instructions instead of waving their wands around like fools.
Of course, there was also the one everyone knew best...
Boom—
An explosion rang out. All the Little Wizards, including Professor Flitwick, looked utterly unfazed.
He simply calmly gave Mr. Seamus Finnigan a new feather.
Hermione had practiced this magic long ago. She merely waved her wand lightly and recited the incantation:
"Wingardium Leviosa!"
The feather rose into the air under the effect of magic.
"Well done, Ravenclaw gets two points."
Professor Flitwick called out loudly, "Everyone, look! Miss Granger has succeeded."
However, no one wanted to look at Andy and Hermione, because it would make them feel like trolls.
Flitwick looked at Andy expectantly.
Although he had long known that Andy had mastered the Levitation Charm, successful casting could earn Ravenclaw two more points.
No reason not to take free points!
Andy did not even use his wand. He simply focused on the feather on the table, and it floated into the air.
It's getting harder and harder! Andy frowned.
As he gradually grew older, Andy's magical power also gradually stabilized. It was now difficult for him to use magic as he had when he was younger.
But controlling a feather was still no problem!
