Once the tents were set up and the firewood piled, Ju Zi and Keke returned before long, chatting and laughing. The two girls came before Huo Yuhao, and with a flash from their Storage Soul Tools, a pile of ingredients dropped out.
There were some mushrooms, several fresh fish weighing around a pound and a half each, and even a musk deer.
"That fast?" Huo Yuhao looked over the supplies on the grass and counted them. There really was quite a lot.
"There are plenty of resources nearby, so they were easy to find." Ju Zi said with a smile. At the same time, she took out pots, bowls, ladles, and plenty of seasonings and other ingredients. "Keke, let's prepare the ingredients. We'll let Yuhao show off his cooking later."
"Sure." Keke did not refuse. The two girls immediately began preparing the ingredients, gutting and scaling the fresh fish, then cutting up the musk deer and neatly separating its different edible parts.
The stream was right beside them anyway, making everything convenient to clean.
However, there was a clear difference in speed between Ju Zi and Keke. Ju Zi was much faster, obviously an experienced hand.

"How about making a thick soup to go with grilled fish and grilled meat?" Huo Yuhao examined the ingredients brought before him and asked thoughtfully.
"You're the chef. Your call." Ju Zi waved her hand.
"Let me ask one thing—Yuhao, can you really cook?" Keke asked tentatively.
"I'm decent enough. Hopefully, you'll be satisfied with the results." Huo Yuhao did not brag and swiftly got to work.
Besides the ingredients they had found in the forest, Ju Zi had also brought plenty of other ingredients, such as butter, milk, bacon, and much more.
