The enormous pressure squeezed Su Hao's eyes until they nearly burst. The instant he opened them, he hurriedly shut them again and sealed them beneath thick Black Crystal Armor.
Yet even the highly durable Black Crystal Armor could not keep Su Hao from feeling the tremendous pressure.
"The ocean!" Su Hao instantly identified where he was!
Su Hao cursed inwardly. Damn it, of all places to Teleport me, it had to be the bottom of some godforsaken deep sea! If I hadn't transformed into Earth Monarch beforehand, I would've been crushed apart the moment I arrived!
What environment was Su Hao least adept at handling? Without question, it was water.
A longsword condensed in Su Hao's hand as he shifted slightly to one side.
Behind him, a massive sea beast opened its mouth. Rows upon rows of sharp teeth were neatly arranged in ring after ring as it lunged forward to bite him.
The longsword flashed. Before the beast's open jaws could close, Su Hao's slash severed them, robbing it of its ability to bite.
Although the water affected Su Hao's sword swings, even his greatly weakened slash was still more than the beast could withstand.
Su Hao activated the 'Penetration' Rune, aimed the longsword at the beast's upper jaw, and thrust fiercely.
Thud!
A humming sound rang through the seawater.
Immediately afterward, countless Black Crystal Spikes erupted from the sword Su Hao had driven in, piercing the beast's entire head until it resembled a hedgehog.
Su Hao slowly withdrew his sword, no longer paying attention to the still-twitching beast, and swam upward.
