Background / History

Yang Jinxia grew up alongside Xiao Ya, a beautiful and kind childhood friend. During junior high, Xiao Ya used Jinxia as cover for her secret relationship. A hiking accident later left Jinxia unable to see, hear, or move; during the experience she saw her grandmother and regained the ability to move. 84

A year later, Xiao Ya’s family died in a car accident. Jinxia visited the severely injured Xiao Ya every day in hospital, but Xiao Ya died in front of her. Jinxia subsequently retained the ability to see Xiao Ya’s ghost. 84

Her family history is tied to the Yang family’s revival. Her biological mother concealed her birth by presenting her as a granddaughter, treated her as a means to achieve family goals, and remained focused on the career she had built.
