she brought several of the stronger Semi-Cybernetic Modifier soldiers to the local Resistance Army base.
The massive gate slowly opened,
and a stale wind carrying the scent of metal rushed toward them.
The guards at the entrance watched them warily, their Energy Guns slightly raised, their dark muzzles aimed at Boyle Jones and her group.
But Boyle merely frowned slightly.
The confidants beside her also tensed, their fingers unconsciously pressing against their weapons' triggers.
Yet the female leader, who already possessed a touch of Black Gang style, merely slowly raised her hand and stopped them.
"We came here to discuss cooperation.

Her voice was low and powerful, echoing through the oppressive space.
But the guards did not respond immediately. They merely scrutinized them, as though judging whether this group had come as enemies or friends.
