Rumble!
Amid deafening roars, the stars filling the sky bore witness as the God Tablet known as Storm slowly collapsed within a true storm.
"Teacher..."
Mina looked at Isaiah, the man who had single-handedly caused all this. She knew full well that her teacher could no longer turn back, and bitterness welled up within her.
"Look. How beautiful." Isaiah gazed ahead, his eyes seeming to admire some work of art. "The monument forged by the Gods is collapsing beneath the might of the stars. That should be the norm. That should be... what this world was meant to look like."
As he spoke, he slowly turned around and looked at Mina and the Star Relic Warlocks behind him.
They were all his disciples.
"For all these years, I have taught you. The starry sky is vast and boundless, yet the Gods stand above it. We cannot reach the edge of the sky, and so we naturally cannot touch the Gods. It is as though an uncrossable gulf lies between us and Them, and that gulf is the starry sky."
"But that is wrong."
"The starry sky is not a gulf. It is an ocean. The Gods are not on the other side, either. Like us, They are all within this boundless sea. The only difference is that They can see farther than we can. But now..." Isaiah paused. "I want to try seeing farther than Them."
Isaiah's voice was not loud, but it was enough for everyone present to hear clearly.
Everyone knew how audacious Isaiah's words were. They were true blasphemy.
Of course, compared to what Isaiah was doing now and what he intended to do next, blasphemy on this level was nothing.
They also knew that Isaiah's fate had already been decided.
No one could oppose the Gods.
