Across the endless sea.
The Merry sailed in one direction. Nami looked at the treasure aboard, quietly calculating to herself.
With this much treasure, the orange grove should be able to keep running for a long time. That way, her family could be free from the Buggy Pirates' harassment and live happily for a long time.
With that thought in mind, Nami felt a burst of relief.
Luckily, she had run into the Straw Hat Pirates. As accomplices of that man named AOS, having their ship stolen by her was no more than they deserved.
After all, her family had been threatened and controlled because that guy liked oranges, hadn't they?
Humming a little tune, Nami piloted the Merry closer and closer to Cocoyasi Village.
But as she neared the shore, she noticed something was wrong.
"What is that?!!!"
Cocoyasi Village was unusual today. Though it had often suffered harassment from the Buggy Pirates in the past, life had still been manageable. At most, the villagers would curse them a few times in private.
But now, everyone wore awful expressions, as though they had heard something impossible to accept.
Once the Merry docked, Nami disembarked and approached a villager.
"Eh??? Nami, this..."
"Hurry home and take a look! The Buggy Pirates are here again!!!"
A trace of shock appeared in Nami's eyes.
She knew the usual routine. The Buggy Pirates only sent people to select oranges on certain days each month, but it was not time yet.
Why had they come today?!!!
"Damn it..."
Gritting her teeth, Nami had a bad feeling and hurried toward home.
Sure enough, the place was already surrounded by pirates, packed so tightly that not even water could pass through. At their head stood someone dressed as a clown.
"Hey!!! Clown Buggy, don't push your
