Taking over the "world"???
Hearing Big Mom's wildly ambitious words, Austin showed no great reaction. He merely took another sip of black tea.
Not bad. It was quite sweet.
But Big Mom was the sort to say whatever came to mind. She clasped her two short little hands before her chest and leaned her head toward the quietly seated Austin.
"Ma ma, what do you think? This is a pretty good proposal, right?!!!"
"That's Rocks we're talking about!!!"
"Anyone who spent time with that guy would develop ambitions like these, right?!!!"
Seemingly completely unaware of what Austin might think about her huge face leaning so close, Big Mom smiled and said,
"And you, Austin, are definitely different from Captain Rocks. You must have a way to deal with that [monster], right?"
"That World Government..."
"Hey, Big Mom."
Before Big Mom could finish, Austin set down his teacup and calmly interrupted her.
"You're already so old. Why can't you just settle down?"
"Like Newgate, you're already a remnant of the Old Era, aren't you?"
Looking at the "World's Strongest Woman" before him, now well past sixty and nearly seventy, Austin could only marvel at how her body had aged while her spirit had not.
She was still thinking about conquering the world?
"Ma ma ma ma~ But the World Government doesn't think much of you now either, does it, Austin?"
As though victory were already in her grasp, Big Mom brought up the poor relationship between Austin and the World Government.
"And that [Sade Geou]... You don't think I know nothing, do you?"
"Don't underestimate me. I was once with the Rocks Pirates, after all. I know what Devil Fruit Rocks spoke of—the one that could change the balance of the world..."
Big Mom stared fixedly at Austin's calm profile as
