Somewhere in the New World, a cloaked figure held up a Den Den Mushi. The face on the Den Den Mushi had scarlet light shining from its eyes, a smile on its lips.
"Seastone is a strategic resource, after all. If you encounter anyone who gets in the way, Fisher Tiger, you know what to do, right?"
"Of course."
"Come by my place and pick up a few things before you leave."
Putting away the disconnected Den Den Mushi, Fisher Tiger held a piece of intelligence in his hand as well.
As an internal cleaner for the underworld, Fisher Tiger was naturally familiar with all kinds of intelligence, including the alliance of Luffy, Luo, and Kid entering Wano Country.
The news of Big Mom and Kaido joining forces was naturally included as well. At first, Fisher Tiger had thought Austin's order was simply for him to escort a business deal.
But on further thought, that probably wasn't the case.
Wano Country was territory occupied by Kaido, while King Luffy and the others had gone there to attack Kaido and reclaim Wano Country.
The Seastone deal he was involved in was, in essence, doing business with Wano Country's current ruler and obtaining Wano Country's precious resources.
Would the alliance led by King Luffy agree to that?
Fisher Tiger was not particularly skilled at sorting through such complicated conflicts of interest, nor did he know who he would end up facing. Perhaps it would be the Beasts Pirates, or perhaps the Straw Hat Pirates or those samurai.
But none of that really mattered.
What mattered was that he completed the mission perfectly. This was for the future of Fish-Man Island, and also a display of his loyalty.
