Nagato revealed that Izanagi had revived him, but Black Zetsu had stolen his other Rinnegan and left him severely weakened. As the Akatsuki went into hiding and Obito and Void began searching for Black Zetsu, Shin met Orochimaru to begin the promised work on cloning technology.
