Genitsu arrived uninvited and barged straight into Sasuke's home.
Even if he was Sasuke's teacher, barging into the home of the Uchiha clan head was rather rude.
But clearly, Genitsu did not care about such details, and Sasuke would never have thought of it.
Itachi had thought of it, but he did not care. Instead, he immediately began considering why Genitsu had done this from Genitsu's perspective.
"Lord Genitsu, you actually came? The man claiming to be Setsuna is currently speaking with my father." Itachi spoke respectfully, though worry inevitably appeared on his face. He felt that things were getting a little out of control.
Setsuna, who had awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, had actually drawn Lord Genitsu's attention... Well, that was not surprising. Within the entire Uchiha clan, any Mangekyō wielder, even if they did not stand on Lord Genitsu's side, would certainly not become his enemy.
Fugaku was somewhat indecisive. On top of that, there was his younger son, Sasuke. Unless Genitsu actively pushed him into a corner, he would never fall out with Genitsu. Fugaku would rather hesitate and wait for events to develop and affect him in turn than act rashly.
As for Kazue and Shisui, they were even less likely to clash with Genitsu.
"Yes, I heard about Setsuna. The whole village now knows that he awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, and that his ocular technique is related to restoring youth." Genitsu pressed down on Sasuke's head and vigorously ruffled his hair as he spoke indifferently.
Itachi's face was filled with shame.
This was truly embarrassing.
"I came to give him a beating, so that old man who has been away from the front lines for so many years can experience the dangers of the Shinobi World." Genitsu raised a foot and headed straight inside.
