Hidan surrendered.
He might not like using his brain, but he wasn't an idiot. There were three opponents now, each harder to deal with than the last. If he kept fighting, he would end up in serious trouble.
"Let me make this clear first—if you get in the way of my preaching, I'll kill every last one of you," Hidan snapped.
"Don't get cocky. If Madara hadn't arrived in time, you'd already be dead," Hiruko said darkly.
"Impossible. I can't die. Lord Evil God is watching over me." Hidan began chanting the greatness of the Evil God again.
Obito and the others clearly couldn't be bothered to listen. They didn't believe in any Evil God at all.
In their eyes, Hidan was obviously an experimental subject created by the Evil God Cult who had merely mastered a special ninjutsu.
His methods of attack were extremely limited. Once they had information on him, he would be easy to deal with.
"From now on, you are a member of Akatsuki. However, you will not be a core member," Obito said.
"What? I'm this strong, and I'm not a core member?"
Kakuzu said, "There are ten core members, and all the positions are filled. Besides, your strength clearly doesn't qualify."
"Hey, you wanna die? Who are you looking down on?" Hidan grabbed his scythe and moved to cut Kakuzu down.
Obito merely cast him a glance and directly used genjutsu to restrain Hidan, leaving him unable to move.
"Everyone who joins Akatsuki must demonstrate their value. As for you, Hidan, even as an outer member, you should use your abilities to the fullest... From now on, you need only serve me."
Obito stared at Hidan with his Mangekyō Sharingan.
Hiruko and Kakuzu exchanged a look, their expressions amused.
Madara actually took a liking
