At the battlefield, Genitsu refused to stop his plan and prepared to reclaim the Eight-Tails and Nine-Tails with Madara and Nagato, leaving their alliance poised to end when the Ten-Tails revived.

• Yamanaka Inoichi told the advancing shinobi that Shiranui Genitsu had planned the disaster and the Ten-Tails revival, then collapsed from the strain.
• Minato confirmed that Inoichi was telling the truth and that Shiranui Genitsu and Hitomi were the same person, while Shisui and the other shinobi struggled to accept the revelation.
• Genitsu told Madara and Nagato that he had deliberately not defeated the Sage of Six Paths because he needed to verify certain things, and said the revival plan could not be stopped.

In the Land of Lightning, Genitsu revealed that Isshiki had another Ten-Tails, while Madara and Nagato struggled to control the one before them and Genitsu hinted that a third Ten-Tails could appear.

• Isshiki freed his Ten-Tails and sent it to attack Toneri and Huomen, explaining that it needed to devour an Ōtsutsuki to evolve into a Divine Tree.
• Toneri and Huomen called for Genitsu's help, but Isshiki said Genitsu could not intervene because his soul was in trouble, and the Ten-Tails ate them.
• The Ten-Tails began growing after consuming Toneri, while Isshiki watched its transformation with satisfaction.

As the battle intensified, Sasuke opposed Genitsu’s plan to sacrifice Naruto for peace, and Kabuto summoned Hashirama Senju to begin his plan to give him the Rinnegan.

• Genitsu told the gathered shinobi he intended to impose peace through force, while Ōnoki tried to rally the shaken Allied forces.
• Might Guy chose to follow Genitsu, opened the Seventh Gate, and fled under a barrage of attacks as Minato ordered the Allied forces to attack.

Kabuto used Urashiki’s time-altering Rinnegan to accelerate Hashirama’s eye evolution, giving him the Rinnegan during the battle. Hashirama repelled the Allied Shinobi Forces’ sealing attempt and continued slaughtering them as Genitsu began the next step of his plan.

• Kabuto controlled Hashirama as he charged into the Allied Shinobi Forces and targeted Fugaku and Itachi, taking both men’s Mangekyō Sharingan.
• Kabuto revealed that he intended to give Hashirama the Rinnegan, then used the Red Tomoe Rinnegan’s time-reversal power to accelerate the eyes’ fusion and evolution.
• Asuma attempted to seal Hashirama with the Dead Demon Consuming Seal, but Hashirama used the Rinnegan’s power to protect his soul and pull the Reaper’s hand away.

• The Sage of Six Paths explained that Naruto and Sasuke were his sons’ reincarnations and said Genitsu had altered their personalities before choosing Sasuke to receive his remaining Six Paths Power.
• Sasuke gained a Tomoe Rinnegan, Truth-Seeking Orbs, and the ability to fly, while Naruto resented being passed over.

• Genitsu left the Pure Land after recovering his power and told Kabuto he would mark the Slug Sage rather than kill her immediately.
• Isshiki transformed his Mini Ten-Tails into a Divine Tree, and Madara and Nagato transformed their Ten-Tails as well.
• Genitsu tore open a passage through his body and released the three-hundred-meter Planet Godzilla, astonishing the fighters and revealing his plan to remake the planet's ecosystem.

Planet Godzilla attacked the Divine Trees, devouring part of one while Madara absorbed the rest and became the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki. As radiation spread across the battlefield, Sasuke fought Isshiki for the remaining Divine Tree, and Genitsu moved against Madara as Kaguya began to stir.

• Planet Godzilla destroyed Isshiki’s black cubes with an Atomic Breath that used no Chakra, and Genitsu identified its power as Controlled Nuclear Fusion.

As Madara prepared to sustain the sleeping population with the Divine Tree, Genitsu announced he would handle everyone’s survival using his own method.

• Genitsu and Planet Godzilla pressured Madara, who escaped Genitsu’s Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion by switching places with a shadow and stole Nagato’s Rinnegan.

• Genitsu told Isshiki he had long known Black Zetsu could revive Kaguya, while Genitsu, Isshiki, and Sasuke continued fighting amid Planet Godzilla’s attack on the Divine Tree.

He briefly established a connection and heard the words “Descend, Ghidorah,” leaving the identity and arrival of the entity unresolved.

• Orochimaru left his barrier with Guren and Jūgo, then brought Ranmaru to Kabuto’s group as the last Red Eye heir.
• Orochimaru demanded Planet Godzilla’s cells in exchange for Ranmaru, and Kabuto allowed him to try while Karin kept Planet Godzilla occupied.
• Orochimaru rode the White Snake Sage toward Planet Godzilla, collected material from its lingering injury, and injected it into himself.

After surviving Kaguya’s strongest attack and overwhelming her with his regenerative power, he revealed that he intended to capture her and learn the Ōtsutsuki Main Family’s secrets before killing the god attempting to enter the Shinobi World.

• Genitsu told Kabuto that the mysterious being Orochimaru might contact was stronger than Kaguya, and he hoped to destroy one of its avatars for information.
