Kabuto revealed to Shin that he had been impersonating Hitomi on Genitsu’s orders, then armed Shin with the missing ninja swords and sent him toward the battlefield. At the Eye Organization’s base, Kabuto prepared to give Hashirama Senju the Rinnegan.

• Yamanaka Inoichi told the advancing shinobi that Shiranui Genitsu had planned the disaster and the Ten-Tails revival, then collapsed from the strain.
