Four-tailed White Ape

Rustle, rustle!

Before long, black ape exotic beasts had surrounded the four of them.

A rough estimate put their number at well over three hundred.

Su Luo carefully observed these ape exotic beasts.

He discovered that they actually had different numbers of tails growing behind them.

Some had one, some had two.

A few had three tails, and their bodies were somewhat larger than those of the surrounding ape exotic beasts.

Judging by the aura they gave off, these three-tailed apes should have been Level 3 Exotic Beasts.

Just as more than three hundred ape exotic beasts had surrounded the four so tightly that not even water could trickle through—

A shrill ape cry suddenly rang out from nowhere.

Then, as if they had received some command, the ape exotic beasts automatically moved to either side, opening up a broad path.

At that moment, an even larger ape exotic beast strode over from the far end of that path with heavy steps.

This ape exotic beast had four eyes on its face, white fur covering its entire body, and four whip-like tails swaying behind it.

"Four-tailed White Ape!" Liu Yunyi cried out in alarm.

Hearing that Liu Yunyi recognized this exotic beast, the other three looked astonished.

"Yunyi, where did you learn about this exotic beast? It doesn't seem to be in the textbooks." Shen Huaiyue asked in confusion.

Liu Yunyi explained calmly,

"I happened to see it in an extracurricular book called Strange World."

"The Four-tailed White Ape described in that book looks very much like this exotic beast. The only thing that doesn't match is the number of eyes. The book said it had two eyes, but this ape exotic beast has four."

"The book said that if an ordinary ape exotic beast tribe received Heaven's favor and produced a Four-tailed White Ape—"

"Then under the Four-tailed White Ape's influence, that ape tribe's intelligence would become no different from that of normal humans, and it would possess an exceptionally complete social system."

Listening to Liu Yunyi, Su Luo could not help feeling deeply curious about this Four-tailed White Ape.

The Four-tailed White Ape merely stood where it was, greedily staring at the four of them.

The pressure of a Tier 4 Exotic Beast alone made the three sisters struggle to breathe.

Su Luo, however, was completely unaffected. When he had challenged the Illusion Tower, he had been able to deal with even Level 5 Exotic Beasts, let alone a mere Tier 4 Exotic Beast.

"Don't panic. I'll clear the field first," Su Luo said softly to the three girls.

The moment his words fell—

Purple light flashed in Su Luo's eyes as he raised a hand and slammed it downward.

"Million Gravity!"

Purple gravitational energy instantly swept through the surrounding dense forest.

The Four-tailed White Ape glanced around in confusion, suddenly seized by a bad premonition.

Then came a deafening rumble!

Apart from the ground around Su Luo and the others, which showed no sign of collapsing—

Everywhere else within a hundred-meter radius looked as if it had been struck by a comet.

Under that crushing gravity, ordinary trees were flattened in an instant.

The once-lush forest became bald in the blink of an eye.

Those weak Level 1 ape exotic beasts were pressed to the ground, their internal organs shattered as they died on the spot.

The Level 2 and Level 3 ape exotic beasts fared no better. They lay sprawled on the ground, vomiting blood, unable to move even a finger.

Such terrifying destructive power left the three sisters behind Su Luo utterly stunned.

What they had expected to be a prolonged and vicious battle had been cleared away by Su Luo in a single move.

Why did that suddenly feel so satisfying?

Under that immense gravity, the Four-tailed White Ape forced itself to remain standing.

At this point, it had been completely frightened senseless by the sudden turn of events.

The bloody stench of its dead kin made it turn its head toward its severely wounded and dead subjects.

Enormous grief and guilt immediately flooded its heart, and its four eyes involuntarily turned blood-red.

It bared its teeth and glared at the man standing opposite it.

Waving its four steel-whip tails, it charged at Su Luo and the others without regard for its life.

"You three go deal with those Level 3 apes. I'll handle this one!" Su Luo said, turning his head slightly toward the three behind him.

After hearing that, Shen Huaiyue and Liu Yunyi were the first to dash off in opposite directions.

Shen Huaiyu was a Healing Ability User. She remained where she was, focusing her attention on the three of them. As long as anyone was injured, she would immediately heal them.

Su Luo raised his right hand and aimed it at the Four-tailed White Ape charging toward him.

A massive sonic boom suddenly erupted in front of Su Luo.

A tremendously powerful Air Cannon struck the rushing Four-tailed White Ape like a meteor.

Pfft!

The instant the Four-tailed White Ape was hit, it sprayed a huge mouthful of blood. Its body was carried straight backward by the Air Cannon.

Rustle, rustle—

The Four-tailed White Ape flew over a hundred meters before crashing into the dense forest, where it fell silent.

Seeing this, Su Luo relaxed and turned to look at the three behind him.

Shen Huaiyue and Liu Yunyi divided the work clearly, each taking one side and freely hunting the Level 3 apes.

Since most of the Level 3 apes had already lost the vast majority of their fighting strength under Su Luo's first gravitational attack, the two found it extremely easy to hunt them.

Shen Huaiyu remained where she was, continuously casting healing techniques on the two of them, keeping them in peak condition.

The three followed closely behind Su Luo and came before the Four-tailed White Ape he had sent flying.

The Four-tailed White Ape had already passed out. Dense wounds covered its entire body, and it would not be waking anytime soon.

Su Luo gave a light leap and landed on the chest of the four-tailed ape king.

Just as he was about to finish it off, the Four-tailed White Ape abruptly opened all four of its eyes.

An eerie light radiated from those four eyes. When Su Luo met their gaze, his body suddenly stiffened for an instant.

Seizing the opportunity, the Four-tailed White Ape raised its fist and smashed it viciously toward Su Luo.

Su Luo snapped back to his senses and immediately raised both arms before him, forcibly taking the Four-tailed White Ape's blow.

Though he suffered no real damage, the Four-tailed White Ape still knocked him flying off its body.

Seeing that the Four-tailed White Ape could still resist, Shen Huaiyue instantly tensed up and entered a combat stance.

The Four-tailed White Ape flipped over and rose to its feet again. Taking a deep breath, it raised its head and let out a piercing ape cry toward the sky.

At that moment, on the other side of the dense forest, a Black Giant Ape heard that cry and immediately leaped up, sprinting madly toward the Four-tailed White Ape.

The giant ape stood nearly fifty meters tall, its entire body covered in black fur, with five long tails growing behind it.

With its enormous body and muscular frame, every step it took made the entire forest feel as though the earth were shaking and the mountains swaying.

Feeling the faint tremors in the ground, the Four-tailed White Ape revealed a cruel smile at the four of them.
