First Town.
Now the seat of the Coastal Province Provincial Government in East Africa, after East Africa moved its capital, the central institutions relocated to Rhine City, while the provincial government offices and their staff, along with their families, became the main support for the local population and economy.
Yet ever since it lost its status as the capital, First Town had never truly recovered. After all, moving a capital involved not only Central Government offices, but also the public systems that had originally been there—education, healthcare, scientific research, and more.
However, First Town's decline instead presented an opportunity for this World Expo.
For this round of the World Expo, the Coastal Province Provincial Government and First Town city government had no less work to do than Dar es Salaam city.
Coastal Province senior official Teren said, "Although this World Expo is jointly hosted by Dar es Salaam city, Bagamoyo city, and First Town, First Town's task is actually heavier than that of the other two cities."
"First Town will shoulder 58 percent of the venue supply, placing it ahead of Dar es Salaam city and Bagamoyo city, whose economies and industries are stronger."
Of the remaining share, Dar es Salaam city accounted for 34 percent, while Bagamoyo took on 8 percent.
The reason for this outcome was precisely that First Town possessed a great number of idle venues, as well as the most complete urban infrastructure and the highest-quality construction among the three cities.
After all, it had once been East Africa's capital. First Town had been planned according to the highest standards of its day, with not only solid building quality but also great attention to artistic design.
Among East Africa's current cities, First Town ranked second only to the capital, Rhine City, in architectural artistry, making it
