Minato's letter was fairly concise and contained nothing particularly important. Summed up in one sentence, it was roughly: "I'm heading to the battlefield for a mission, so I'll leave Kushina's meals to you."
Of course, the actual wording was certainly not that blunt. It was more tactful and included expressions of thanks.
Although Minato's letter did not mention anything especially important, the fact that he was going to the battlefield held some significance for Mu Yue.
Perhaps the probing attacks had ended, and both sides of the war had begun formally engaging each other.
Although the Third Great Ninja War would last around four or five years, it could not be that the first four years were all probing while the final year suddenly escalated to its peak.
But that had little to do with Mu Yue right now. Unless the conflict reached the intensity of ten thousand Iwagakure troops attacking the border, a Special Jonin whose specialty was teaching would basically not be assigned wartime missions or sent to fight on the battlefield.
That was the one advantage of being a teacher at the Ninja Academy. Unless things reached the worst possible point, it would not be the teachers' turn to head to the battlefield.
After reading Minato's letter, Mu Yue began sorting out his plans for improvement.

After Might Guy's birthday passed, Mu Yue had directly asked Obito what he wanted as a birthday present.
Obito usually talked a big game, but when Mu Yue actually asked him, he could barely say anything. In the end, he said that anything from Mu Yue would be fine.
Obito's
