During the practical exam the next day, Mu Yue's main body went to Class 1-1's examination grounds to check on things.
Although his main body had not been at the school this semester, he had been promoted again, gaining the position of Vice Class Leader of Teachers.
The only people at the Ninja Academy with positions higher than his were Hiruzen Sarutobi, the principal and Hokage, and Shimono Hisanobu, the Teachers' Class Leader and Director of Studies.
His main body took the students out on missions, but he had not simply abandoned Class 1-1 either. He left behind a Shadow Clone to teach the class.
Although the Shadow Clone did not have the skill-teaching boost, it possessed all the knowledge in his mind. Its results were worse than his main body's, but far better than those of other teachers. Since First Grade students learned relatively simple things, the difference was not too great.
Shadow Clones were indeed an extremely convenient Ninjutsu. The troublesome part was that the fatigue returned along with them, so Mu Yue dismissed them at regular intervals to keep the backlash from hitting him all at once.
"You all look energetic. How did yesterday's written exam go?" Mu Yue greeted the students with a smile.
"Good morning, Mu Yue-sensei. I think I did pretty well," Anko said first with a grin.
Izumo Kamizuki answered, "So-so, I guess."
"I feel like I did kind of badly," Kotetsu Hagane replied.
"About the same. It was what it was," Shisui answered calmly. Compared to Mu Yue's questions, the Ninja Academy's questions were far too easy.
Seeing this scene, much the same as before, Mu Yue smiled faintly. In two months, he had grown much stronger, but these students had not changed much.
The proctors who had just arrived also smiled
