"The enemies on Lord Jiraiya's side are very strong. It'll be dangerous if you're not in good condition."
Mu Yue smiled and thanked him. "It's fine. I seized the chance to recover some Chakra already, so it won't affect my fighting."
Since Mu Yue had said so, the Konoha jonin nodded and said nothing further, rushing toward the site of the explosion with Mu Yue and the others.

Though he had never interacted with Mu Yue before, he was now more than willing to become friends with him—if they could survive the war.

When Mu Yue and the others arrived, the two sides appeared to have just gone through an intense clash. Everyone was covered in dust and grime, while several Iwagakure and Konoha shinobi corpses lay scattered across the field.

Though he had expected it when he saw Iwagakure's signal earlier, hearing that they had won a great victory made Jiraiya even happier.
Minato was somewhat surprised to see Mu Yue approaching, but with a great enemy before them, he did not go over to ask about it.
