A week before the graduation exams, Obito, Kakashi, and the others gathered at a dango shop after finishing their training instead of heading home.
"You're all eating, right?" Obito asked before placing the order.
Seeing everyone nod, Obito ordered five servings of dango from the owner, then casually picked a seat farther inside the shop.
"You all know what we're here for, right?" Obito looked around, then spoke in a low voice with a serious expression.
"Mm, I know. It's for that." Nohara Rin nodded and replied softly.
"Oh, that." Might Guy lowered his voice as well.
"We're just discussing how to hold a thank-you party for Mu Yue-sensei. Do we really need to act like we're carrying out a classified mission?" Kakashi could not help but complain.
Since Obito and the others were about to graduate, they would have fewer chances to see Mu Yue afterward. Although Kakashi had already graduated, his team would be disbanded and he would join a new one, so he would no longer be able to see Mu Yue every day like this.
After discussing it for a while, they decided to hold a thank-you party for Mu Yue to thank him for his teaching and all the help he had given them.
Although Shisui was neither graduating nor part of the internship team, he naturally had to take part in something like this.
"Obito was being so serious that I just wanted to play along with him." Nohara Rin explained with an embarrassed smile.
"I thought they were trying to incorporate secrecy into their daily lives as training." Might Guy said that he had misunderstood.
"I was worried we might run into someone who knows Mu Yue-sensei, and then Mu Yue-sensei would find out beforehand," Obito said, believing that staying vigilant was important.
