"Grandmother, I'm back!" Obito called out impatiently the moment he entered the courtyard.
"Welcome home." Grandmother walked to the doorway with a kind smile.
"You must be hungry. I'll go make you something to eat." It was just noon, and Grandmother figured Obito had not eaten yet, so she turned and headed into the kitchen to prepare lunch for him.
Obito grinned and nodded, then sat down in the living room.
The moment Obito sat in the living room chair, his body and mind completely relaxed, and he even began to feel a little sleepy.
I didn't feel tired before, so why do I feel tired after sitting down to rest? Obito scratched his head, puzzled.
Puzzled or not, sitting in a chair at home was still comfortable. He could sit however he liked.
"Obito, that Uchiha Yashiro came looking for you yesterday. He brought quite a few things again and said that if you have time after returning from your mission, you should attend the clan's young ninja exchange meet." Grandmother recalled what had happened yesterday while cooking and spoke up.
"A young ninja exchange meet? What is that, just gathering together to chat?" Obito asked. He did not really understand.
"More or less. There will apparently be sparring matches too, and there are rewards for winning. Your father participated in one before as well." Grandmother thought back for a moment before answering.
"Then what reward did Dad get?" Obito looked toward the kitchen with curiosity. He rarely heard Grandmother talk about his father.
"I don't remember that, but your father was very happy at the time. He told me all about how strong the older ninjas were and how hard he had worked to defeat an opponent, things like that." Grandmother paused in her movements before answering.
