"Even a ninja could write a book like this?" That was Rōshi's reaction halfway through it.
Rōshi was a ninja himself, so of course he did not look down on ninjas. He simply knew that the nature of being a ninja made it difficult for them to study all kinds of theories like ordinary people did.
When ninjas were young, they had to undergo all sorts of training to improve their strength. They did have more time in middle and old age than in their youth, but most ninjas still chose to study ninja-related knowledge rather than peace, philosophy, history, and the like.
After all, research into ninja knowledge could tangibly increase one's strength. As for philosophy and history, one could hardly expect to talk an archenemy to death or reform an enemy in battle.
Thinking of Sōsuke's appearance, Rōshi grew even more curious.
Even if Sōsuke looked young, he could not be more than thirty now. Yet he had somehow divided his time well enough to become the Sōsuke he was today—both deeply learned and exceptionally powerful.
"His strength is decent enough, I suppose. But I imagine he and the Sage of Six Paths would have plenty to talk about," Four-Tails said.
Hagoromo had devoted his entire life to striving for peace. Four-Tails felt that Hagoromo would be delighted to see this book.
As for strength, Four-Tails had seen more powerful people than Rōshi had, so he did not find Sōsuke's power outrageously unbelievable.
Rōshi continued reading. By the time he finished the entire book, he had fallen into deep thought.
Rōshi was not particularly well educated, and much of what the book contained left him only half-understanding.
Even so, Rōshi could sense the uniqueness of Ninshu's ideals. He had never seen or heard of a ninja organization like
